| GEOQUARTZ GeoQuartz is made from 93% natural quartz - one of the earth's most abundant and hardest materials. It is non-porous and anti-bacterial. FlexStone's quartz material is only 1/2" (12mm) thick and weighs only 6 lbs. per square foot. It is a perfect match for RV applications. ______________________________________________________________ GRANITE LITE TM is real Granite. It is a specially engineered Natural Granite slab developed in Europe and is now available for RV's through FlexStone Inc.
The stones selected for GRANITE LITE TM are sliced to less than 1/2" thick and then heated to over 200 degrees. The heat opens the natural fissures of the stone allowing resins to penetrate the pores. A cross-woven fiberglass is pressed onto the stone followed by a final layer of resin. The resulting product, GRANITE LITE TM, is an incredibly light weight, natural stone panel, five times stronger and 70% lighter then traditional residential stone, making it ideal for RV use.
